Kinnauri bride
Kinnaur is a district in Northern India, one of the twelve districts of Himachal Pradesh, where they have their own traditional rituals and customs. In a Kinnauri wedding, the bride often wears layers of gold or silver jewelry, not around her neck or body, but on her face. On top of that, she wears a handmade garland made of dried fruit and flowers.

With a brightly ornamented shawl covering her shoulders, the bride is literally covered from head to toe in garments and ornaments. The dress is a traditional Kinnauri outfit, bright and colorful. While the entire wedding party wears traditional colorful outfits, only the bride is covered in jewelry.
