There are some major cities in the world that, even though they have gone through big changes over time, have kept the foundational elements of their architecture. When something has a strong foundation, there is no reason to ever get rid of it.

Looking at these four different time-frame shots of Buenos Aires gives a glimpse into how life looked there over time. Although things definitely changed as time went on, the foundational element of this building remained intact, and that was a good thing also because it is rather beautiful.
