#20: Restarted the Journey in June 1937
After months of repairs and preparation, Amelia and Fred relaunched their attempt in June 1937. This time, they flew west to east to take advantage of better weather. They set off from California, stopping across South America, Africa, and Asia. Each successful leg boosted their confidence and silenced early critics.

They faced rough weather and equipment issues but kept pushing forward. Amelia often wrote in her log about exhaustion yet stayed upbeat. The world followed their progress closely in newspapers. By the end of June, they had made it through some of the toughest parts of their journey.
