Let’s get one thing straight: when it comes to defining capitalism and communism, neither of these two guys has their facts straight. Nevertheless, the third respondent brings up an interesting point that deserves consideration. If the event that they are discussing took place in a society that practices capitalism, then how can we not consider it an example of life under capitalism?
