An Unexpected Turn
This woman must have been so happy to see such a sweet and thoughtful gift from her husband on Christmas! Just like the woman we saw earlier on this list with alopecia, this woman too would lose her hair- despite receiving a gift exactly for her lovely locks.
The best part of this story? That hair dryer was able to become a symbol of something to strive for: to get through chemotherapy and to get healthy again and grow her hair out. Working for that hair dryer would mean recovery, and she made it! Congratulations to you and your perseverance.
