#36: Saul Goodman, Breaking Bad
Though Breaking Bad (2008) was built around Walter White’s descent from teacher to drug kingpin, Bob Odenkirk’s Saul Goodman stole nearly every scene he appeared in. His flamboyant suits, absurd advertisements, and ability to talk his way out of anything made him instantly magnetic.

Walter White was supposed to embody the show’s transformation from meek to monstrous, and Bryan Cranston’s performance delivered that arc flawlessly. Yet Saul’s mix of comic relief and shady brilliance added a new dimension. The character became so beloved he earned his own spinoff, Better Call Saul, cementing his legacy.
