Full voicemail means no messages from Aunt Sharon
Texting is great for many reasons, and boomers love to text you to remind you that your voicemail is full. As if we weren’t already aware. Well, to be fair, leaving voice messages is becoming obsolete. Even baby boomers know that. Or at least they’re starting to adjust to this idea.
Chances are many youngsters these days don’t even bother setting up an outgoing message on their phones. Most prospective jobs will simply email you if you’re hired. Boomers are more apt to recall the days of answering machine past than millennials. We wouldn’t file this as an annoyance – just another generational gap.
