No matter how graceful or photogenic someone may be, everyone has a few less-than-perfect photos in their past. Kate Middleton discovered this firsthand during her college years, when media attention was already a constant in her life.
On this particular evening, she had been up late studying and was feeling worn out, hardly in the mood for flashing cameras. The paparazzi, however, saw an opportunity and took their shot anyway.
