#16: Even the King Gets Frightened Sometimes
Given the royal tradition of falconry, one might assume Prince Charles would be entirely comfortable around birds of prey. This photograph, however, captured a rare moment of surprise as a magnificent bird suddenly took flight beside him.
Leaning back slightly, Charles appeared momentarily startled while the bird spread its impressive wings to their full span. Hawks and falcons command respect, with sharp talons capable of crushing bone, and it was clear he had no desire to test their strength firsthand.
