The Ultimate Punishment
For some reason, teachers hate when students chew gum in class. This is a notorious, but true stereotype about teachers and they are always creative about the punishments they give to the students who break this rule. Some charge their students a dollar and others will give their students detention.
There was no punishment worse than this teacher’s punishment. He kept a jar of old, chewed gum on his desk, which was nauseating enough. If he caught any of his students chewing glass, they had to discard their gum and chew someone else’s old piece. Can he be sued for this?
