Not if You Round Up
It’s not exactly a secret that Russia is the largest country in the world. This transcontinental country has a landmass of over 17 million square kilometers, nearly twice that of the United States (9.8 million). However, despite being the largest country, it’s only the ninth most populated right after Pakistan, which has a landmass of just 881,000 square kilometers.
But that’s not what we’re focusing on. Let’s take our eyes to the skies yet again, but this time to Pluto. The only celestial body to get kicked out of our snooty list of planets (it’s a dwarf planet) is roughly just 16.6 million square kilometers.
