We’ve all imagined at one point in our life what it would be like traveling in time. Perhaps you could teach the past folk about electricity, but you’d probably end up in a guillotine for introducing “black magic” to their society. However, at least for the time being, time travel is but a piece of science fiction.
But if it were real, you wouldn’t want to use it. That’s because you’d need a time and space machine. The Earth is in perpetual movement, not just in rotation but through space. If you traveled a mere 60 minutes into the past without taking space into account, you’d transport to 30 km in some random direction.
