One way to stay entertained when the power goes out is to have a survival kit that has all the things you need. Another thing to do is find a book on your phone.  Download it to your phone and have plenty of reading material.

You might be bored without power but it is important to stay entertained while there is no power.

What you should do when the power goes out?

One thing to do is go outside and play with your family. Another thing to do when the power goes out inside is to turn on a flashlight. You can also play games such as monopoly or old-school video games like Mario Bros.

You can also do other things like playing with your pets or drawing on the walls with markers.

One thing you should not do is play with fire, just because it isn’t safe to use candles and start a fire that might spread out of control so don’t mess around with fire.

Another important thing to do when the power goes out is to not plug in your phone or charge it.

If you have a laptop, then maybe you can use that no problem but you should be careful using it because the battery might die very fast and leave you without power.

What To Eat When the Power Goes Out?

When the power goes out you can’t really cook food or use many appliances, but there are some foods that can be microwaved and still taste great.

So what are a few of the things you should eat when the power goes out? Well, things like popcorn, pasta with sauce, noodles with sauce, rice with sauce, cereal, and oatmeal.

You don’t want to boil water if the electricity is out though because it will take a long time for it to heat up and might take forever. You could also go for canned vegetables or canned soups!

If the power goes out you might want to keep your refrigerator closed so things don’t warm up and spoil. One good way to get cold water would be from the sink, if possible, but just do your best to keep the fridge closed during this power outage to not ruin the food you have on hand.

Lastly, if the power goes out just try to keep calm and stay safe while there is no electricity. It’s best that you use our tips to prepare for a day without power, just in case a storm hits and power is not available for some time.
