2. Tales From the QuadeaD Zone
This 1987 horror film about a mother reading two blood-curdling stories to her dead son is considered by many to be the Holy Grail of VHS collectors just for the sheer rarity of it. Even if you have only the cover without the tape it can easily fetch at least 700$.
Dan Kinem, and expert on VHS collection and who even co-directed a documentary called “Adjust Your Tracking” about just that, managed to acquire the only known about two copies of this extremely rare blaxploitation horror film from an run-down video store in post-Hurricane Katrina New Orleans. Kinem kept one and sold the other for $3,500. So if you have one at home, give him a call.
