Double-Telescoping Darth Vader
If Dad held the early Star Wars, he could be packed in Grandma’s attic with a double telescopic version of Darth Vader. A lightsaber extended out of its golden arm, then extended in a thinner, more frail tip, this version was the most valuable figure in a series featuring Vader, Luke, and Obi-Wan.
The double-extending arm was expensive to make, and in the next wave of figures, Kenner soon revised its style. Because only 3 of the figures – still packed and unaccounted for – are estimated at between $2,000 and $7,000, depending on the condition and whether it is in the original packaging. Because it is estimated.
Not bad for an investment of 2,49 dollars. Rebel Alliance, take it.
Price: $2,000-$7,000
