Fad Diets
With so many fad diets coming and going, we’re sure that baristas have seen some really troubling things. Atkins, keto, Whole 30- each one with their own specific requirements, and each one with their own dedicated group of followers.
I love this barista’s sense of humor about the whole thing though. If you are adding 24 pumps of chai to your latte then it is very possible you have lost sight of the parameters of your fad diet and you are doing anything you can to get those extra calories in some way. It’s probably a lot healthier to just have some carbs every now and then. After all, balance is key.
