Refilwe Modiselle
Refilwe Modiselle was born in Soweto, South Africa, and today she’s the pride of the country: she’s made history as she became the first South-African model with albinism. She was also the first albinistic model to walk on a runway show in South Africa.
Modiselle was discovered at the age of 13, to her amazement and that of her classmates, who kept harassing her for her looks. In 2005, she worked for David Tlale in the South Africa Fashion Week and was included in the Oprah Magazine Power List, a peak in her career aspirations.
