The sheer volume of plates in South Korea is undoubtedly one of the country’s most intriguing and attention-grabbing characteristics. No, I’m dead serious! When you enter a Korean restaurant and place an order of any kind, a large number of plates will be brought to the table in front of you. This is true regardless of the number of items that you have ordered.
It’s probable that this has something to do with the habit that Koreans have of snacking on little servings of a wide variety of various side dishes throughout the course of their meals. We are of the opinion that regardless of what it might be, the potential of it being there is quite interesting.
