Hands down, this is a brilliant ad. We’re not going to pick the best one because it’s tough competition. No one has ever said, in the history of the world, that kids are affordable. But this company is encouraging us to do the math. We never consider getting intimate with someone in such terms, but maybe we should.
The company’s slogan is “use protection,” which can be applied to this ad as well—the math is simple here, even if you aren’t a math whizz. This ad is so simple—it’s only a photo of a baby’s car seat—yet it speaks volumes. It gets the message across without using any words.
