#17: That Got Dark

We don’t mean to preach, but there’s really no excuse to litter. Picking up your trash after a picnic or at the beach is so easy; it requires almost no effort. The city of Toronto agrees with us (we’re all Karens at heart), but they take an even darker stand—they think everyone who litters is a low life. But they have a nice way of saying it.

We can say a lot about the importance of keeping a clean environment – we won’t get into that. This ad says it for us. They seem pretty serious about littering. Personally, we think this ad is brilliant, not only because we agree with the cause – it’s funny and clever at the same time, and it’s just the right amount of reproachful.
