#27: Father’s Day
Another thing that’s changed drastically is Father’s Day, which has come a long way from the classic tie and socks combo. Now, instead of giving him a new pair of slippers, we’re giving him artisanal hot sauces and custom-made whiskey glasses. Even the gag gifts, like novelty mugs, have said goodbye in today’s world.
But hey, at least it’s not another tie, right? Maybe next year, we’ll all be gifting our dad’s holographic golf clubs or self-driving grills. After all, we have to keep up with the times – and with our siblings. In the future, maybe we could go back to something more practical to be a little different.
