#11: Dreadful DLC
DLC, or downloadable content, is the bane of every gamer’s existence. Studies show that the average cost of DLC for video games has increased by around 60% in the past decade. You’re paying extra for the cherry on top of the sundae, except the cherry costs as much as the sundae.
Sometimes, you’ll also find that it’s just a new hat for your character or a slightly different armor shade. But hey, at least we have the satisfaction of knowing that we’re supporting the developers and keeping the game alive, right? Or maybe we’re just getting scammed. Whatever the reason, DLC is fun!
