Back in the 90s, you could buy a movie ticket for the price of a pack of gum, but now you practically have to take out a mortgage to see a movie. There’s also the snacks – a small bag of popcorn costs more than a whole meal at a fast food joint… By the end of your movie experience, you’ve spent more than your weekly allowance.
They’re charging us for sitting in a dark room and staring at a screen! Maybe we should all start sneaking in our food like undercover agents. Or better yet, we could wait for the movie to come out on streaming and watch it in our pajamas. That’s way more fun than the cinema!
