#14: No Connection
It’s hard to imagine a world without the internet. Still, there was a time when people actually had to go outside and talk to other humans for information. The percentage of people who use the internet daily has skyrocketed from less than 1% in 1995 to over 90% in 2023.
The internet has become our digital lifeline, connecting us to information, entertainment, and each other. Of course, there are some downsides to having the internet at our disposal 24/7, like the temptation to spend hours scrolling through cat videos instead of working. But hey, it’s a small price to pay!
