Wife Carrying
No, she’s not heavy, she’s your wife. This is another “domestic” sport whose origins can be traced to Finland. Husbands carry their wives in a timed obstacle race. The fastest competitor gets beer equivalent to his wife’s weight. And he’s gonna need it when he’s done. Wives must weigh more than 108 pounds.
Toilet Bowl Racing
The few, the proud, the…toilet racers. This All-American sport involves putting wheels on a toilet and racing your friends, family members, strangers or anyone else daring enough to participate.
Worm Charming
Afraid of snakes but want to try your hand at “charming”? Then this one’s for you. This sport is the equivalent of snake charming. Competitors must gather worms from the ground without digging. Participants get a 3 by 3-meter plot, garden fork, boom box and a piece of wood. The idea is to use music vibrations to charm or simply bug the worms out of the ground. Toe Wrestling
As the name suggests this is the toe version of hand wrestling. Toe wrestling has been popular in Britain since the 1970s. The rules are simple; pin down your opponent’s foot with your toes interlocked to their toes. That’s it. We wonder how close the spectators stand near the players.

This sport is the perfect definition of weird and brutal. Mokomoko boxing is popular in Hawaii. It can be defined as bare-fist boxing with all blows directed to the face. Competitors are also limited to blocking blows with their closed fists. Ouch!!
Chessboxing
If you thought the sport of boxing couldn’t get weirder, think again. Chess boxing is a combination of chess and boxing. The sport originates from Finland. Competitors play chess and then beat the hell out of each other. Winning is either by checkmate or knockout.
Cheese Rolling
The UK also has dangerous wacky sports. Cheese rolling involves chasing a large cheese wheel downhill. The 1st participant to reach downhill wins. Participants hardly reach downhill on their two feet.
Egg Throwing

Weird and fun blend perfectly in egg throwing competitions. Participants are supposed to catch tossed eggs without breaking them (which is practically impossible). Although the sport originated from England, it is enjoyed by millions worldwide.
Shin Kicking

This has to be England’s meanest and wackiest sport. Shin kicking is a mean version of kickboxing with the main target being the shin. The participant who knocks out their opponent wins. Shin kicking is an annual event in Dover Hill.
Sepak Takraw
This sport is a strange version of volleyball originating from Southeast Asia. Unlike volleyball, participants can hit, pass the ball around and score using any part of their bodies except their hands.
Mud-Pit Belly Flop
