#12: Pedestrian Shield
To curb the grim tally of fatalities, ingenious inventors conceived a protective shield, akin to a train’s cowcatcher, to be affixed to the nose of automobiles. It wasn’t exactly a visual delight, but the intent was commendable! From the same school of thought emerged The Safety Scoop, a brainchild of northern English inventors, adding a quirky yet thoughtful twist to vehicular safety.

While the concept remained unchanged, this iteration boasted a construction of the fabric, a delightful departure from its clunky and likely perilous metallic predecessor. Its crowning glory, however, was its ability to neatly fold away post-use, a charming feature that served as a polite nod to your dubious driving skills, subtly ensuring the safety of those around you.
