#5: Grandma and the Giant Bug
Nothing says “family bonding” like sitting next to a six-foot insect in your living room. The bug costume is disturbingly detailed—bulging eyes, snout-like mouthpiece, and spindly arms folded politely on the lap. Meanwhile, Grandma sits calmly beside it, as though this is just another ordinary Tuesday.

The unsettling part isn’t the bug itself but how unfazed Grandma looks. She’s clearly seen stranger things in her time, while the rest of us are left wondering if this creature came to trick-or-treat—or take over the planet. Either way, the blanket on the couch feels woefully inadequate protection.
