#32: Anna Harrison, Wife of President William Henry Harrison
Anna Harrison was highly educated for her era, with studies in literature, philosophy, and religion. She never actually served in the White House, as her husband died a month after his inauguration. Still, her learning and thoughtful writings reveal a woman of intelligence and strong moral conviction.

Though she never took on public duties, her intellectual background set her apart from many of her contemporaries. Her letters and devotion to education showed how women of her time could cultivate knowledge, even without formal platforms. Her influence lived on through her family and community.
