Front-row funeral seats
An iconic scene in countless Hollywood movies and shows is a graveside funeral. When a character passes, you’ll notice a group of mourners dressed in all black sitting on wooden chairs around the coffin. This isn’t just a TV trope. Americans plan seating arrangements for funeral attendees.
At least, in most cases. It really boils down to the family’s culture and religion. Some might spend all afternoon in the graveyard while others bury the departed and get out in record time. But just like in any other place in the world, all deaths are taken seriously. I’ve even heard of stories where random passersby will attend a funeral to show their respects.
