Betty Boop
Betty Boop was widely popular during the sixties and seventies, when we assume this lady received her tattoo, or else at 85, she finally decided it was time to get the tattoo she’s always wanted, because you only live once. The nostalgic character of Betty Boop was probably born around the same time she was, and so this tattoo is a homage to a beloved childhood cartoon character.
For some reason, for years Betty Boop has been a popular tattoo design, maybe because she represents women empowerment or maybe simply because she’s silly and fun, and that’s what tattoos are about for some people – doing something that’s silly and fun, and this grandma certainly seems pleased with her tattoo.
